Laurel graduated from St. Louis University in 1991 with a BS in physical therapy. Laurel completed her Feldenkrais® training in 2013 with the class of Berkeley 7, educational director Dennis Leary and assistant Carol Kress. Laurel continued on to complete her Child’Space® training with Chava Shelhav in 2016.
Laurel has certificates in craniosacral therapy, and massage therapy. She has continuing education credit in NDT and working with children with special needs.
Laurel owns Aqua Terra Physical Therapy LLC in San Francisco. Aqua Terra provides clinic based services in San Francisco’s Glen Park neighborhood, home based services including Early Start, and aquatic therapy based at the Janet Pomeroy pool in San Francisco.
Laurel is a member of the South End Rowing Club in San Francisco where she swims and rows in the San Francisco Bay. She is also an active member of Lake Merritt Rowing Club where she competes with the Lake Merritt Women’s Masters rowing team.
