What Is Child’Space

The Child’Space Method teaches parents and caregivers how routine activities and play spark their child’s developing motor, cognitive, emotional and social abilities.

Child’Space was named to honor two of Chava’s most important principles of the method. The name reminds practitioners and caregivers to provide a Child Space, to explore, and to allow each child to develop at their own Child’s Pace.

Child’Space helps parents and caregivers by teaching them how to observe their babies and to support their babies’ development. Early education is enriched through touch, movement, and face-to-face communication. Parents learn to attend to small details of how their children act and learn, and develop a better appreciation of how their child learns new skills.

Each Child’Space individual or group session encourages activities that provide babies with improved awareness of themself and combine developing skills, which contribute to new abilities. Sessions often lead to immediate improvements for infants and toddlers, and prepare them for later challenges such as jumping, holding a pencil and playing with ball.

Child’Space practitioners also provide training to professionals who work with children. Classes teach developmental movement and touch to help each child reach their potential through workshops and professional training program.
